This is my story. I started playing drums at the age of 14 years old. I bought my first drum kit and set them up in the basement. Soon after, we took over the garage, where my brother, Louie and I and some pals started our first band, The SECOND COMING BAND. We were all in junior high except my brother. He was in high school and had a car. We played all the local high schools, VFW halls, and backyard keg parties, playing classic rock music we heard on the radio. Bad Company, BTO, Grand Funk, Led Zep, and The Who. All the good stuff!! Then after graduation, I decided to go to Boston and joined many original bands. Too many to list here! Except for one. DIRTY TRIXX. We were a glam/hairband. We gave it our best shot, then Grunge entered the scene, ending that. So here it is years later, and I’m back to playing the music I grew up with and love. Classic rock!!

I started playing guitar when I was 14 years old, and it has been more than 40 years since then. The opening riff of "Train Kept a Rolling" by Aerosmith inspired me to pick up the guitar, and it is still my favorite song to play. In the early 90s, I attended the GIT program at Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, to study guitar. I have played in various local bands, and currently, I am part of an amazing project called Critical Mass, where I play alongside some incredibly talented musicians and vocalists. Even to this day, I feel the same level of excitement about playing the guitar as I did when I first started. When I'm not playing in the band, I spend my free time buying too many guitars and developing my

I began my singing career in the 1990s as a vocalist for a country rock band called Showdown. We used to perform at the Sit n' Bull and the Maynard Octoberfest for several years. Later on, I became a member of an 80s new wave cover band and also joined a local classic rock band called AutoPilot Down. We played at various clubs in the Metrowest area for a decade. Since then, I have performed with several other cover bands. Singing 80s metal, new wave, and classic rock songs is something that I truly enjoy.

Geoff has been playing the bass guitar for over 35 years. He was most recently a member of Blue Moon, one of the most popular acts in the Boston area. Some of his influences include Paul McCartney, James Jamerson, Geddy Lee, and Verdine White. Geoff's preferred bass guitars are Fender Precision and Rickenbacker 4003, and he enjoys playing a wide range of music genres such as Rock, R&B, and funk.

Critical Mass Rock Band is excited to introduce piano extraordinaire Stephen Siegel to the band.
Stephen is a lifelong musician who began studying piano at an early age while also experimenting with various other instruments. Alongside piano, he chose to focus on the saxophone, continuing his studies through college.
His passion for keyboards deepened in high school when he purchased a Rhodes piano. During that time, he performed with rock and wedding bands, playing both keyboards and saxophone/clarinet.
As he progressed in his musical journey, he shifted his concentration more towards keyboards. He has been a part of a wide range of bands, from jazz quartets to horn-driven funk and soul bands. Critical Mass Rock Band provides him with the opportunity to reconnect with the music he grew up enjoying.
